Wauwatosa Bird City: Spring Bird Migration Hike

  • May 12, 2024
  • 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
  • Forest Exploration Center

It’s spring migration season, and that means fabulous birding opportunities right here in Wauwatosa, a Bird City Wisconsin-designated “High Flyer” city!

Carl Schwartz, editor of the Wisconsin Society for Ornithology's monthly newsletter, The Badger Birder, will lead a morning spring migration hike to catch views of colorful spring warblers, Scarlet Tanagers, and Baltimore Orioles, along with many year-round residents.

This event is open to new and experienced birders. Bring binoculars if you have them.

Binoculars are recommended but not required. Please leave dogs at home for this birding experience.

Registration for this event is full. Please email info@forestexplorationcenter.org to be placed on the wait list.
